This is the recording of Still Waters, my master's thesis project. Performed on September 16th, 2022, from 4pm to 10pm in the Alder Theater at Ramapo College.

The written component to the thesis was a 45ish page essay on the aesthetics of extended time music, with in-depth analyses of the music of Robert Rich, Steve Roach, La Monte Young, The Caretaker, and many others. This album is the creative component. Originally meant to be seven hours as opposed to six, the concert consisted of three "acts" with thirty minute intermissions in between. When actually playing, due to how the music was being improvised and felt out from ready-made sounds I had collected, and due to my own energy levels throughout the night, the concert was shortened just a little.
