I'm happy that fall is finally here in full force. Here are some compositions I had made using field recordings captured over the past year. Longer even.

Material for "Falling Asleep" was captured at Ramapo Mountain State Forest, in my backyard, and my dorm room when I lived there. It's amazing how loud everything is at night when you're trying to fall asleep. Noisy neighbors, bugs, air vents, etc. But eventually, sleep comes.

I had been sitting on top of "Sitting on my porch..." for more than a year at this point (no pun intended). I captured a really bad thunderstorm from my front porch in June of 2021. The thunder was extremely violent, and the rain pelted down on the roof of the little overhang I was standing under. At the same time, cars were flying down the street at unsafe speeds. "Sitting on my Porch..." is an arrangement of the hour I had stood there.
